The Difference Between Compiler, Interpreter, and Assembler is given Below:

Compiler

The compiler helps in translating the high-level program into a machine-understandable form.

Well, the compiler takes an input which then converts them into machine language code which is to be executed as an output.

Examples include Pascal, C, C++, Java, etc.

Interpreter

An interpreter is a translator that helps in translating high-level language into a machine-level language.

But, the compiler and interpreter perform works differently.

An interpreter translates and executes the program line by line.

Examples include PHP, PERL, Q-BASIC, etc.

Assembler

An Assembler helps in translating an assembly language ( Symbolic code) to executable object code.

Well, Assembler translates a block of assembly language source code at a time.

Examples include NASM, GAS(GNU Assembler), etc.
