The Program in C++ to Find Frequency of each digit in a given integer is given below:
#include <iostream>
using namespace std;
int main() {
int num, digit, count[10] = {0};
cout << "Hello Codeauri Family,Enter the number to find the frequency of digit here: \n";
cin >>num;
while (num > 0) {
digit = num % 10;
count[digit]++;
num /= 10;
}
cout << "Well, the frequency of each digit in the given number:" << endl;
for (int i = 0; i < 10; i++) {
if (count[i] > 0) {
cout << i << ": " << count[i] << endl;
}
}
return 0;
}
Output:
Hello Codeauri Family,Enter the number to find the frequency of digit here:
20540407
Well, the frequency of each digit in the given number:
0: 3
2: 1
4: 2
5: 1
7: 1
Pro-Tips💡
This program prompts the user to enter a number, then finds and prints the frequency of each digit in the given number.
The program uses a while loop to repeatedly extract the last digit of the number (using the modulus operator %) and increment the corresponding count in an array called “count”.
The number is then updated by dividing it by 10 (using integer division /), which removes the last digit.
An array “count” of size 10 is initialized with all elements as 0. The element of the array corresponding to the extracted digit is incremented.
The while loop continues until the number becomes zero, at which point all of the digits have been extracted and their frequency has been recorded in the count array.
Finally, a for loop is used to iterate through the count array and print out the frequency of each digit (if it appears in the given number) in the form “digit: frequency”.
