The Program in C++ to Compute Total,Average of four numbers is given below:
#include <iostream>
using namespace std;
int main() {
int num1, num2, num3, num4, total;
float average;
cout << "Enter four numbers: ";
cin >> num1 >> num2 >> num3 >> num4;
total = num1 + num2 + num3 + num4;
average = total / 4.0;
cout << "Total: " << total << endl;
cout << "Average: " << average << endl;
return 0;
}
Output:
Enter four numbers: 45
66
78
45
Total: 234
Average: 58.5
Pro-Tips💡
In this program, we first declare four integer variables (num1, num2, num3, num4) to store the numbers input by the user, an integer variable total to store the sum of the four numbers,
and a float variable average to store the average of the four numbers.
The program prompts the user to enter four numbers using the “cout” statement, and uses the “cin” statement to input the numbers.
Then we calculate the total of four numbers by adding all of them together, and calculate the average by dividing the total by 4.0 (as we are taking four numbers as input)
Finally, the program uses the “cout” statement to output the total and average of the numbers to the console.
