The Program in C++ to enter P, T, R to calculate Compound Interest is given below:
#include <iostream>
#include <cmath>
using namespace std;
int main() {
float P, T, R, CI;
cout<< "Hello Codeauri Family, Please enter P,T,R sequencely:\n";
cin>>P>>T>>R;
CI = P * (pow((1 + (R/100)),T));
cout << "Compound Interest is: " << CI << endl;
return 0;
}
Output:
Hello Codeauri Family, Please enter P,T,R sequencely:
4
5
6
Compound Interest is: 5.3529
Pro-Tips💡
This program calculates the compound interest for a given principle amount (P), time period (T) and rate of interest (R).
The user is prompted to enter the values for P, T, and R using the cin function.
The formula for compound interest is P(1+R/100)^T, where P is the principle amount, T is the time period and R is the rate of interest.
To use the power function ‘pow’ I added #include at the beginning of the code. This value is stored in the variable CI.
Finally, the program prints out the calculated compound interest using the cout function.
